A. B. Riddle
I am a sailor, but my passion is writing. I wrote my first novel before I learned the alphabet. The manuscript was paper-bound and the spine was professionally stapled by my mother. The word count was roughly 500 scribbles. Some might say I was a child prodigy.
My debut novel, The Atheist's Prayer will be published by Perfect Edge Books, an imprint of John Hunt Publishing. Visit my website for more info. If you're really bored, you can read a collection of my poetry at Slit Your Wrists, and another poem at Front Row Lit. |
I will focus my reviews and interviews on debut authors and the occasional first-time, self-published author. I want to hear new voices and explore uncharted waters. And I want to hear first-hand accounts of what it's like to break into the world of publishing.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
I’m interested in debut authors: my only criteria is that this is the first book you’ve published. I’m happy to look at self-published manuscripts as well as anything published traditionally.
I’m willing to read a wide range of books: non-fiction, science fiction, ebooks, graphic novels… you name it. I won’t review individual short stories, but might consider a book-length compilation. I can’t read every book that comes my way. If I don’t think I will enjoy the book, I’m not going to read it. If you’re actively promoting your book and I think you’ll bring our blog more viewers, I’ll be more inclined to give it a shot.
WARNING: I can’t promise a glowing review! But I will let you know if I’m leaning towards an unfavorable one. I might be persuaded not to post anything. I will never be persuaded to change my opinion.
Please contact me using the form below if you think I’d be interested in your book. Include a teaser and a few sample chapters (or a link to these items).
